Mat Yamagata serves as Director of Business Development for Litivate Reporting + Trial Services. He is responsible for account growth and management, as well as the development and direction of the sales team. He brings over 10 years of experience cultivating client relationships through his work in sales, account management, and operations.
Mat thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. Upon joining Litivate, he was tasked with launching and expanding Litivate’ s San Francisco presence. During his tenure, Litivate has grown to encompass the entire Bay Area, while providing leadership and direction to multiple sales professionals located throughout the West Coast. Mat is passionate about building a dynamic team that fosters a culture focused on teamwork and outstanding service.
Prior to joining Litivate Mat was a national Case Manager with Capital Reporting Company. During his time there, Mat was responsible for creating a strong presence on the West Coast for this Washington, DC based reporting firm. During his tenure, he built strong relationships with Bay Area legal professionals.
Mat attended San Francisco State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. He is on the Board of Directors for the Lawyers & Judges Golf Association and volunteers time to the Asian Law Caucus. When he’s not working, you might find him in Golden Gate Park with his wife and son, or cheering on the Giants, Warriors, and 49ers.
